The worst hotel I've ever been ever

We were at this hotel on 23 March , for 2 night.The staff was very very good.But I can't say these things about the hotel and the owner of the hotel.Although the rooms look nice in terms of design, this is just an impression.Everywhere in the room and bathroom is dirty and dusty.Water was running in the bathroom.It is impossible to enter the room through the smell of sewage,because building is very old. The worst thing was that the hotel owner came at 09:55 and told you to leave after 5 minutes. We were not informed about this in advance.When I said that I am with a small child, I can go out at 10:30, the woman started screaming. She started talking to the tourists in the other room in the same way,everyone expressed their displeasure,but to no avail.I do not advise anyone to go to this hotel and throw away their money

Booked 2 rooms for 2N on 7-9 Aug 2019. This stay was the tail end of our Europe trip. Prior to check in date, we were given details on self-check in which was fine. We arrived at 6pm and upon entering the room, we were extremely disgusted with the uncleanliness of the room. There was heaps of dust in the corners and we could not even walk bare feet as it felt like it was not swept in months. The aircon in my room wasn't working well and in the 2nd room occupied by my family member, the aircon was working well. We found insects like dead spiders and some other small dead insects in many corners of BOTH rooms. When we contacted the host and showed her pictures of the room and the dead insects, she said she was not in Zagreb and she will inform the housekeeping to do check on the air-con as well as ensure that the 2 Rooms would be cleaned well. The next day after our day trip we returned to the Rooms and yet again it wasn't cleaned nor did they service the air con. The host made NO attempt to fix the situation and all she said that we could find ourselves another room. Now at 11pm how are we suppose to go look for a room. This behavior of the Host being totally irresponsible made our trip in Zagreb very very unpleasant. We had been travelling for 2 weeks before Zagreb and every Hotel / Apartment Host made our trip memorable with pleasant service. I hope that TripAdvisor and Hotel.com would remove this property from its listing so no other traveler would have to experience what I did

Super nice room, in the smack center of the city. Arrived by train, it's a few minutes walk straight from the station. Couldn't ask for more. No issues getting in or checking in. Very well organized. Daily cleaning included. Basically the owners turned one of the huge city apartments into I think 4 rooms with baths, turned it into a mini hotel. Very cool, makes sense. Scary part you ask? Door to the building unlocked to the street. You come home at night and there is no light whatsoever. Got to walk the 40 meter hallway, up some stairs, turn and hit another stairs and then, there is light...If you don't have a light from the phone or something, you will never make it. Plus you don't know who or what is lurking inside. They should really fix that.

The apartment is 10 min walking from the train station, no turns, all the way straight from the train station. Clean, nice staff, big bathroom, super bed, not noisy, fast internet. The prove you can't judge the book by it's cover! Close to the main bars, restaurants, and stores in the center. If you have heavy bags or suitcases it may be a problem, so be aware that the apartment is located on the second floor and there is no elevator. The only complaint I have is that sometimes during the night the light on the hallway was taking too long to turn on, other than that my stay was perfect and I'd definitely come back!!!

Entering the Appartement on the second floor of a somewhat derelict building seems scary at first, but the apartment itself is amazing. Great Bed, great luxury and more than sufficient amenities. The best place in Zagreb for a good night sleep, location is also perfect! Thank you City Vibe for a great stay!
